GM Building Management Solutions (GM) is committed to implementing and maintaining a work place that is fully compliant with the Work Place Health and Safety Act 2011.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Producing, implementing and regularly reviewing WPH&S policies and procedures;
- Producing, implementing and maintaining Safe Work Method Statements;
- Establishing Risk Management Procedures and reviewing them regularly to allow for improvements in our safety performance through the identification of hazards and risks;
- Supply MSDS’s for all chemicals used;
- Ensuring full emergency procedures in are place;
- Ensuring that team members possess the necessary skills and qualifications to perform their duties;
- Providing suitable training, meaningful information and ongoing management for all staff;
- Identify, assess, control, and eliminate risks within the workplace in a timely manner;
- Protect the safety of our residents, contractors, visitors, staff and the public when they are present on the sites under our management;
- All GM staff have “Working with Children” Blue cards, this ensures they have had full police history and background checks;
- All GM staff have First Aid certification so they are able to provide assistance to injured, residents, contractors, visitors, staff and the public.
